Wizardry NES unlimited gold exploit

Here I demonstrate a method by which to obtain unlimited gold in Wizardry I for the NES. This may also work on the PC and Mac versions but I have not tried it on those platforms. I had submitted this tip to VG&CE magazine in 1989, and never heard back from them, and then saw the tip 2 years later in the magazine. Problem was, the tip section that had it was my letter almost word for word. I felt cheated :) During that time nobody that I'm aware of knew about this. But VG&CE was cheap enough to use my trick and just print it later so they didn't have to send me a T-shirt. Oh and of course, the editor took credit for its discovery.
