I ramble on a bit here. What I mean to say is that it is important to be aware of what your fellow musicians are doing, and try not to do much until you have a good understanding and communication with them. Listen with your ears and your heart. Learn how to feel the music. Dont forget, we are the engine of the band. Our role is to keep time, and offer the low end!
