Melting salt with Induction heater

Demonstrating the high temperature of the work piece by melting salt in a nut. When the salt starts melting at 800C the nut is only red. The nut glows yellow after a few more minutes (not in the vid.) indicating around 1000C, at which point the salt evaporates quickly. Induction heating was done with my new heater.
