Scientology: Debunking Dianetics

I tried and tried to get information about how LRH researched his books. I found claims that he got his son HIGH and asked him questions and this coversation lead to the majority of "the history of man". I was later told that his son said that the claims where not true but later said that he only said that he was telling lies because members of the church of scientology made threats against his family. So fro LRH jr. That is 2 he got me high and asked me questions. and One Oh maybe not. -- this was no good. So I did some more digging and heard that LRH was on an operation table and had an out of body experience. While he was out of his body (dead) he saw a gate that opened to find knowlege that was unknown to man. He then heard a voice that said something like "Its not his time yet" and his spirit was pulled back into his body. This was a little hard to prove. But I later discovered that the claim had been exagerated. It turns out he was not having an operation he was having dental work done. The gas made him unconcious. - Well that was no good either. I also found one possible example that LRH could have used research of a scientist in the late 1920's who claimed that the human soul has a mass that can be measured. However LRH claims the "thetan" (a scientology soul)weighs 1.5g - 2g. It does not really matter the earlier scientist was not only de-bunked but could not prouce research. LRH's research is scetchy at best. At one point he claimed it was all (and i paraphrase) "written in pence and on the backs of napkins" etc... and it really did not have much order to anyone but him I tried for at least two months to find a Scientologist that had some answers. I kept getting put off, given the run around, and stone walled. So I thought I would check out Xenu.net That is where I found the info. in this video. It was taken from a study in 1953 when Dianetics was first becoming popular. (Popular as in Dr. Phil not among science professionals) One of the books famous reviews from a scientific mag. was "This book promotes more questions than answers on every page". This is how I felt when trying to get answers from a scientologist about the research done by L. Ron Hubbard.
