PLEASE READ THIS - This is the last of four clips from the hokey, but glorious, "Amazons", from 1986. This inept made-in-Argentina cheapie has (1) painful dialogue; (2) lousy acting, especially by the dubbed voices in English; (3) clumsy fight scenes; (4) laughable special effects; and last but not least, (5) an army of muscular tanned beauties kicking butt from Buenos Aires to Patagonia. The film was directed by Alejandro Sessa and starred Windsor Taylor Randolph (aka Mindi Miller and Ty Randolph); Penelope Reed as Tashi; Joseph Whipp as Kalugo; and Danitza Kingsley as Tshingi. Ms Randolph was trained by her father, Dave Kashner, a veteran Hollywood stuntman of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. She did all of her own stunts and never used a body double. She received extensive training in karate, the use of firearms, swordfighting, horseback riding, hand to hand combat, and gymnastics (IMDb). She's one of my favourite tough tootsies.
