most of us are taking a look at our finances to see where we can cut back. We're trying something new to help you find savings in Tonight's consumer corner. Realsimple.com suggests signing up for electronic toll devices, like e-z pass -- it can save you 15 to 50 percent per trip. Another tip -- don't let the water run. Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth and run full loads in your washer. The savings could total 189 dollars a year. Review your insurance policies. You may need to re- Adjust your coverage... and it could save you 15 to 30 percent on home and auto bills. When it comes to paying the bills, realsimple.com points out a savings of 70 bucks a year if you pay bills online instead of through snail mail. Take a look at your cable, internet and phone bill. The website found if you consolidate the three you could save 10 to 20 dollars a month. And make sure your cell phone plan matches your needs. J.d. power and associates found cell phone subscribers use only 64 percent of the minutes they pay for -- if you can re-adjust your plan you could save about 16 dollars a month. If you can find time to take a look at your finances... those small changes could add up to big savings. That's a look at tonight's consumer corner.
