Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio finally agrees to abide State law

After Florida PERC (Public Employee Relations Commission) ruled that The City of Tampa and Mayor Pam Iorio have been illegally withholding benefits and pay from Tampa Firefighters for nearly eight months, the Mayor admits to local media that the City will now abide by State law and pay the firefighters what they are owed. The Mayor's tactic of trying to coerce Tampa Firefighters into an unfair contract by withholding pay has ultimately wasted Tampa taxpayer's money because the PERC ruling forces the City of Tampa to not only pay the firefighters the money that is owed but with interest as well.
