Kim's Point Of View. Once I ended my texting with Joe, I took a shower. Then I blow dried my hair, and put in up it a pony tail and my bangs back in a poof. Then I put my usual makeup on and then got dressed. I put on a white abercrombie sweatshirt, jean shorts, and white flip-flops. I grabbed my purse and cell phone. Then I went downstairs and told my mom where I was going and was out the door...... The park wasn't very far. It's only like a mile away. Once I got there, I saw a HUGE amount of people. (Authors Note: It's not like a playground park, it's a community park, with like a playground, benches, picnics, stuff like that.) I looked around trying to find Joe, but I didn't see him. Finally I saw two hands cover up my eyes and say, "Guess Who." I laughed and turned around. "Hi!" I said, cheerfully. "What's up?" was his reply. "Nothing. What are we gonna do here?" I asked. "I wanna get to know you." he told me. "Oh. Okay." I said. We walked over to a bench and sat down. "Alright." he said as we sat down. "Shoot." Kim: Okay well I'm from Maine. I used to be the school geeky girl, and it looks like that's gonna happen again. I'm Italian. I've had a boyfriend before, turns out he didn't really like me. Joe: Eyebrows shot up. Kim: Um, my birthday is October 16th, I love poetry, I get straight A's. And I love boys that sing. Joe: I sing! "No way!" I said. He laughed. "Yep." I smiled and giggled. They sat there for a while and looked into each others eyes. "You have really pretty eyes." he said. I smiled and blushed. "Aw, thanks." I said. "Your welcome." All of a sudden Kim blinked really fast and wiped something off her her forehead. "What?" Joe said laughing. "I felt a raindrop fall on my head." I told him. All of a sudden it began pooring like crazy. You couldn't even see anything. "JOE! I CAN"T SEE!" I screamed. "I KNOW! I CAN'T EITHER! HERE GRAB MY HAND AND WE'LL RUN!" he screamed back. So I grabbed his hand, and we ran down the pathway. We were running really fast until we reached our street. We ran down the street, and I reached my house and he reached his. We stopped and looked at each other. "Bye." he said. Then he kissed my cheek. I blushed and my stomach got butterflies. "Bye Joe." I said and ran into my house and he ran into his. Once I reached my front door, I ran inside. I looked like I just got out of a pool because I was SOAKED. "Oh my god! Kim! Aren't you cold?" said my mom. My teeth were clattering, and I was shaking. "Uh, yeah duh!" I said. She walked over to me and put a blanket around me. "Go into your room and put on some dry clothes." she told me. I did as I was told. But as I was changing I couldn't stop thinking about Joe. I liked him so much and he was the sweetest person ever. He's so caring and nice. And he's the only one who's been nice to me ever since I got here. Oh, I wanted to be his girl so bad.... Okay! :] The next chapter something major is going to happen :] I might not be able to post tomorrow because I have to stay after school, then I'm going to the mall with my mom, then I'm going out to dinner.
