Terminator Salvation: Extended Teaser (*Not* Official, Fan-Made)

A new extended teaser I put together for Terminator Salvation. When I saw the original released by WB, I was both excited and slightly disappointed - - because, it was lacking in the Terminator style sounds and music (all it had was the classic Terminator drums). So, I decided to create a short score for the teaser myself. I also added a few clips from the older Terminator trailers that fit in with the future war theme. I felt that this teaser should instantly grab your attention with a Terminator-like sound... This short score is inspired by both Brad Fiedel's and Marco Beltrami's Terminator soundtracks. Using the sounds on my workstation synth, I tried to replicate the signature T-800 mechanical heart beat and T-1000 falling-brass-ensemble sounds that Fiedel had created for T1 and T2. The results are pretty creepy... My selection of percussion instruments is more inspired by Beltrami's T3 score. Music Performed and recorded by Michael Plichta / MRP Audio Innovations.
