Tutorial Diary:: Scrap Frames
BackSome of the work I do leaves me with a lot of scrap parts that I never had a use for. I didn't want to throw them away, so I kept a bag. Now I have enough pieces to do something with. I ended up splattering them all over an old picture frame I have. I think it looks fine without putting the glass back in and leaving it as it is, but that's just me! I thought it was so fun that I picked up some more leaves from a garland and I've started a new bag of scraps so that I can make some more when I've collected enough of them. You could easily do a project like this at home and you wouldn't need to use leaves. You could collect stones, shells, buttons, or anything you like. You could wrap yours in floral tape or paint the frame and then use a glue gun. Make sure that the pieces won't be too heavy or that hot glue is the right adhesive for your medium. ----------------- Music is a cover of "Down With the Sickness" by Richard Cheese
