***Rhynae*** (Rhynae called Kevin and asked him to meet her at Chili's. He just arrived, so she waves him over to the table) Kevin: (Sits down) Hey babe. (Kisses her from across the table) Rhynae: Hey. Um, you hungry? Kevin: Uh, yea. (Silence) Is there anything wrong? Rhynae: (Surprised) N-No, nothing is right. WRONG! Nothing is wrong. That's what I meant. Kevin: Rhynae, what's going on? You've been acting strange; you're very mean and distant lately. Did I upset you by asking what you'd like for your birthday? Did I do something wrong? Rhynae: You didn't do anything. I'm fine, just a little moody about this situation with my friend. Kevin: Well, why haven't I met your friend? You're always with him or her, but you never introduced me to him or her. See, I don't even know if it's a man or a woman. Rhynae: Fine. It's a man. We've just been handling some business, that's all. Kevin: I'm worried about this. We're supposed to communicate; talk about these things. It's hurting our marriage Rhynae. Whatever business you're handling with him obviously has you stressed, but I can't help you if you won't let me in. Rhynae: (Looks at the napkins and fiddles with them) Just don't worry about it, I have it under control. I can handle it by myself. Kevin: Maybe you can, but the point is you don't have to. You have me. Why is it so hard for you to tell me what's going on with this guy? Why can't you look at me? Rhynae: BECAUSE I SLEPT WITH HIM! (Gasps and covers her mouth, regretting she said that and that she stopped there) Kevin: (Heart dropped) You. . . . you slept with him? (Hurt and confused) But, why? Was I doing something wrong? Was I not exciting enough? Just tell me, please. I can try something new. I'll go buy some videos, I can learn and get better. Wait, do you still love me? Oh God, you want a divorce again, don't you? Wh- Rhynae: (Covers his mouth) I only did it to help Joe get the kids back. (Moves her hand) Kevin: (Confused) Huh? Rhynae: My old friend is John Madlib, attorney at law. Kevin: John!? THAT creep?! Rhynae: Yea, I know. Well, all this legal drama was stressing me out, so I went to him for help. I thought he could let me know how to win the case. Turns out he was going against Joe, so he blackmailed me for revenge. Kevin: Revenge, why? Rhynae: Remember I told you I was a stripper? Kevin: (Nods) Mhmm. Rhynae: Well, he used to be my boss and we had a little thing between us. That's partially why the money was so good. I was the best dancer there and got him a lot of business. When I left, the club went belly up and he had to find a new way to make a living. He's never let it go. (Twists some of her hair) I didn't want to sleep with him, but it was my fault the DNA test had to be done. (Disgusted face) He told me that I still "got it". (Looks in his eyes) I'm so sorry. Kevin: (Holds her hands and resting them on the table) Hey, you did a good thing. I understand where your heart is, but let's talk to each other before any "friends". Rhynae: (Laughs) Okay. I'm so happy you understand. I love you. Kevin: I love you too. (Hugs her) Rhynae: (Still hugging) You sure you forgive me? ~~WHOA! So she told him and he understood. Great, but does he forgive her?
