"Hey Nick are you ready?" Joe called up the stairs. "Yeah!" Nick replied. A few seconds later he appeared at the top of the stairs then continued on down them. "Ok I'm ready now where's Kevin?" "He isn't coming, mom and dad had to go out so he's staying back with Frankie." "Oh, well lets go." They walked to the front door and out of the house. "You know Joe, I really look forward to days like this, days when I can just kick back and relax, just be with family. It makes everything seem perfect in life." "You think jogs make a perfect life?" "No, not JOGS, I mean just days when we spend time together, as brothers, or as a whole family. It makes you remember the important things in life." He stated. "Oh great, don't turn my Saturday morning into some sappy sibling day." "I'm not doing that." He defended himself. "No but your heading that way." "Ok then I?ll stop." They continued to jog down the path for quite a while, bringing up random topics from guitars, to mocking birds. But they were enjoying themselves and that's all that mattered to them. "Hey Nick, look out there's a car coming up ahead." Joe said as he was pulling his brother to a stop. "Na its ok, there slowing down, we can cross." "Just let them go Nick." The car came to a stop. "Joe we can go, come on." Nick said. "Alright," Joe agreed. They only took one step when Joe realized the two guys in the care were watching them but not just watching, they were getting out of the car. "Nick I'm not to sure about these guys, don't let them to close to you." He whispered to his younger brother. He nodded as a reply. They took a few more steps when the two guys had gotten fully out of the car and started walking towards them. "Hold up guys," one said. "Um look we really can't, our little...sister is sick and we really need to go pick her up." Joe said. He tried to walk further but the other guy stepped in. "We just have a question man." He replied. "Guys I'm REALLY sorry but our sister is sick WE NEED TO GO GET HER." He once again said. "Look pal either you listen or we MAKE you listen." One guy said as he laid his hand firmly on Joe's shoulder. He silently gulped as he looked at the hand then the man. "Ok," he managed to say. So thats chapter one, I hope you liked it.
