A post mortem examination determined the cause of death to be a 'blunt impact head trauma'. An investigation by the Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad was commenced, led by Detectives Wayne Fowler and Graham Gibson. On March 13, 2008, Toronto Police Chief William Blair authorized a $50,000.00 reward to a witness who contacts Detectives Fowler and Gibson, provides a video taped statement of their knowledge of this murder, and testifies in court to secure a conviction of the suspect(s). This reward is NOT associated to the Toronto Crime Stoppers program, and is being offered as an incentive for a witness to come forward and testify in court.
